Engineering, Furnish and Install (EF & I) – Shields provides a complete profile of turnkey services to the global carrier market.
In addition to providing our customers with their on-going equipment requirements, our sales and engineering teams currently have the expertise to identify customer requirements and configure complete or add-on network solutions. Installation Services
Installation Services will provide trained teams to install vendor equipment based on mutually agreed upon project plans, procedures, and site specific details. This process will ensure the solution is compatible with the office environment and ready for network integration.
De-Installation
Shields has our own specialized, fully trained de-installation engineers, with many years of experience in all areas of telecoms equipment and cable removal. We safely remove your redundant network hardware from site, once traffic has been migrated to its new platform.
De-installation services will be provided by trained teams including a minimum of 1 project lead and project manager. De-installations are performed in two methods;
- Take Out: Cut cables and remove frames and infrastructure only. Provide transportation, recycling and relocation services when required.
- Complete Removal: Complete removal of specified equipment, including cable mining, power and DSX. This service is normally used when a system is being replaced by another system. We also provide transportation, recycling and relocation services when required.
