Mike Angeline - Environmental Risk and Asset Disposal Manager

Shields Environmental is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Angeline, Environmental Risk and Asset Disposal Manager, to our expanding team.  Mike, has 21 years of project management experience in the Environmental Services industry and extensive experience in private, public and both State and Federal Government sectors of environmental industry.

One of Mike’s major accomplishments was that he managed personnel and subcontractors in the decommissioning and closure of a semi-conductor manufacturing facility.  Removal and decontamination of chemical distribution system, wastewater collection system and hazardous waste collection system, acid exhaust system, solvent exhaust system, AST’s and UST’s. Recycling of over 940,000 pounds of stainless steel, 3,975 cubic yards of hazardous arsenic-contaminated debris and non-hazardous industrial waste.  11,000 gallons of non-hazardous industrial waste water and 11,000 gallons of hazardous decon water, and drummed hazardous waste sludge.

Mike will be responsible for training operations staff to dismantle equipment into recycling streams that create best returns for our customers.  He also meets with current customers and develops new ones to discuss disposal needs and offer environmental audit services for facility issues such as mold, groundwater, asbestos, etc
